Refreshed 2021 Nissan Armada is Here, Starting at $49,895
The 2021 Nissan Armada is here with an updated exterior design and more goodies inside. The refreshed SUV features a bolder grille, Nissan’s new corporate logo, a standard 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and wireless Apple CarPlay.
The automaker is also offering a Midnight Edition package for $1,990, which will give it a blacked-out look. The Armada now starts at $49,895, an increase of $1,000 compared to the last model. Its competitors, Ford Expedition and Chevrolet Tahoe, both are more expensive, starting over $50,000.
Remember that the entry-level S variant is new to the lineup for 2021 MY. It features cloth seats, 18-inch wheels, and a four-speaker audio system. The previous base grade, the SV, now costs $53,895, a bump of $5,000 from last year. It boasts heated leatherette seats, roof rails, two additional speakers, wireless charging, and a trailer brake controller.
The Armada SL experiences a $3,600 price increase and now sells at $57,295. Nissan has added the leather seats, power moonroof, a Bose sound system, a 360-degree camera, and 20-inch wheels.
The range-topping Platinum trim will set you back $66,295 but offer more standard equipment than any other grade in the lineup. Yes, expect quilted leather seats, rear heated seats, power reclining seats in the third row, a digital rearview mirror, and 22-inch wheels. This variant also sees a price increase of $2,970.
Regarding the powertrain, Nissan didn’t change anything. It still features a 5.6-liter V-8 mill mating to a seven-speed automatic transmission. However, now it generates 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. The 2021 Nissan Armada is available with a standard rear-wheel-drive configuration while the AWD is optional for a price of $3,000.
The 2021 Nissan Armada is accessible at the U.S. dealerships.
