The 2021 RAM 1500 TRX VIN#001 Launch Edition sports Anvil Gray paint. The automaker will only create 702 units of the Launch Edition, matching the horsepower the truck generates through its supercharged V8, and all are already spoken for.

This first unit has some exclusive elements, including Mopar accessories. RAM added a RamBar, rock rails, and a bed-mounted spare tire carrier, in addition to the TRX's Level 2 equipment package with facilities encompassing carbon-fiber interior trim, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and Beadlock-capable wheels.

The 2021 RAM 1500 TRX features a Hellcat supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 pumping out 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. The engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In a CarandDriver road test, the pickup truck zoomed to 60 mph from standstill in 3.7 seconds and completed a quarter-mile run in 12.3 seconds at a speed of 110 mph. This acceleration makes it the fastest pickup truck available right now beating Toyota Supra.

So, we can say it is the most potent production truck on sale at the moment. The TRX can enjoy this title until Ford introduces its 700+ hp F-150 Raptor, and may be able to dethrone the TRX from its fastest truck title.

The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX VIN #001 Launch Edition will shine on Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale's stage from March 20 to 27. The bid winner will get a confirmation kit that encompasses a book on TRX's development, select photos and video, a speed-form model, and a Ram truck cover.
