Jeep unveiled its two most awaited models, the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, during a Livestream event on March 11. The newly resurrected 2022 Jeep Wagoneer will come in three trim levels Series I, Series II, and Series III costing US$59,995, US$69,995, and US$74,995, respectively. All the prices are exclusive of the US$2,000 destination charge. Unfortunately, customers can’t have the entry-level Series I from the start.

The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series I will only be accessible in a rear-wheel-drive layout. However, customers can opt for AWD for Series II and Series III by paying an extra US$3,000.

There will be just one engine choice, i.e. a 5.7-liter V-8 creating 392 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque, linked to a 48-volt hybrid system. The power goes to wheels via an eight-speed transmission. A two-speed transfer case and an electronic limited-slip rear differential are available choices.

Inside, the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer has a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 10.3-inch instrument cluster display. Nappa leather covers the seats that are available with second-row captain's chairs.

The automaker offers seven pre-constructed models, including Series II Standard and Premium, each accessible in either rear- or four-wheel-drive; Series III Premium giving a choice of rear- or four-wheel drive; and Series III Off-Road, four-wheel-drive only.

Initially, the Series II Standard will be the most affordable model boasting tri-zone climate control and 20-inch wheels. The Series II Premium will have 22-inch wheels, a front occupant display, and two 10.1-inch displays for the rear occupants.

The Series III Premium will feature every facility available in the Series II Premium, plus a 19-speaker sound system and a heavy-duty trailer towing package. Lastly, the Series III Off-Road variant comes equipped with all-terrain tires, a two-speed transfer case, an electronic limited-slip differential, and an air suspension.

Customer can book the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer as well as the Grand Wagoneer for a US$500 deposit.
