Embertek Warranty

Warranty Coverage

  • Brake Pads and Brake Rotors: 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever occurs first.

  • Machinery: 12 months on major components.

Warranty claims may require photographs of the product, vehicle details, and proof of installation before the item is returned.

Warranty does not cover normal wear, racing or competition use, overheating, incorrect bedding-in, seized calipers, worn suspension components, or damage caused by other faulty vehicle parts.

Warranty does not cover brake noise, vibration or brake dust where these are caused by incorrect installation, failure to bed-in the brakes correctly, or faults with other braking or suspension components.

If your product is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing defect and not as a result of misuse, incorrect installation, negligence or normal wear and tear, Embertek will assess and process your warranty claim.

This warranty does not cover products that have been:

  • Incorrectly fitted or installed by an unqualified person.

  • Misused, abused, modified or tampered with.

  • Damaged due to negligence or improper use.

  • Returned with missing parts or in an unsatisfactory condition caused by customer handling.

Proof of professional installation may be requested when submitting a warranty claim.

Where a warranty claim is accepted, Embertek will repair, replace or refund the product, as appropriate and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty Procedure

All warranty claims must follow the procedure below:

  1. Faulty items do not need to be returned in their original packaging; however, they must be packaged securely to prevent damage during return transit.

  2. Once the faulty item has been received, Embertek will inspect and/or test the product to determine whether the claim is covered under warranty.

  3. If the warranty claim is approved, Embertek will, at its discretion and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, repair, replace or refund the product.

  4. If the customer has already purchased a replacement item and the warranty claim is approved, a refund may be issued for the replacement purchase.

  5. Replacement parts supplied before the warranty assessment must be invoiced and paid for in full.

  6. If the product is repaired, it will be returned to the customer.

  7. If the warranty claim is rejected, the customer may request the failed part be returned; however, no refund or replacement will be provided.

  8. The original Embertek invoice or proof of purchase must be provided when lodging a warranty claim.

  9. If you are returning a faulty item outside the free return period, please contact sales@embertek.com.au before sending the item.

Important: This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
