2022 Kia Carnival Pricing Details Revealed, Starts at US$33,275
After revealing the 2022 Kia Carnival for the U.S. and other markets last month, the South Korean automaker has now announced its pricing details. Replacing the Sedona nameplate in America, the new Carnival starts at US$33,275 for the entry-level LX, which is US$1,700 more expensive than the outgoing Sedona.
Kia offers the new Carnival in four trim levels, namely LX, EX, SX, and SX-Prestige. The EX costs US$38,775, and the SX starts at US$42,275. The range-topping SX-Prestige, new for this model, wears a price tag of US$47,275.
The 2022 Kia Carnival is an improved minivan in all aspects, thanks to its SUV-like proportions and loads of new styling and tech features. The interior also receives plenty of updates, such as a new standard 8.0-inch infotainment screen (12.3-inch display is optional). The front-wheel-drive only minivan carries a 3.5-liter V-6 mill churning out 290 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque.
While increasing the price of the Carnival, Kia made sure it remains less than its competitors. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica starts at US$36,690, while the 2021 Toyota Sienna costs US$35,635.
The 2022 Kia Carnival should hit the roads in the U.S. in the 2nd quarter of 2021.
