2022 Genesis G70 Introduces Launch Edition Before The Arrival of New Sports Sedan

Hyundai’s luxury division has decided to make the 2022 Genesis G70 more attractive for Americans with the introduction of the Launch Edition. The sports sedan will boast unique color combinations and an upgraded twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6 yielding 365 horsepower channeled to either rear- or all-wheels.

The 2022 Genesis G70 Launch Edition will give customers two paint choices, including Verbier White and Melbourne Grey. The 19-inch black wheels are standard, and so is the red leather interior.

The new G70 comes with the automaker’s new design language, which we have already seen on the GV80 SUV and G80 sedan. Inside, we can see a big display to control infotainment and other features.

The automaker did not reveal the pricing details of the refreshed model, but we expect it to be a little pricier than the ongoing models, which start from $37,025 and go as high as $49,225 for a 3.3T AWD variant.

The company has opened the order books for the 2022 Genesis G70 for all the models, including the Launch Edition, which will be limited to just 500 units. The luxury sedan should hit the dealerships in the U.S. this spring.
