Kia K8 Is an Elegant-Looking Large Sedan
The South Korean automaker has just released a few images of the upcoming Kia K8 for the global markets. Replacing the Cadenza (known as K7 worldwide), the large sedan may not hit the U.S. roads. While we cannot argue on the company’s decision, it would have been a great addition in the American sedan market, ruled by cars like Lexus ES.
Kia has made the K8 a little longer than the K7. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about the mechanicals. However, we believe it will be a front-wheel drive.
According to the company’s press release, the new design elements like patterned grille and angular taillights featured in the Kia K8 will eventually carry over to other upcoming cars from the automaker.
Of note, the K8 is the first company model to include Kia’s new corporate logo. Seeing the picture, it sits on the upper part of the front grille and the trunk lid. In the U.S., the 2022 Kia Carnival could be the first vehicle to wear the automaker’s new logo.
Kia did not provide details of the mills, nor did they show us any interior pictures. However, we do know it will hit the dealerships before the end of this year, hopefully starting in its home market first. However, it will not be available in some parts of the world, including America.
