2021 Ford F-150 Raptor Will Break Cover Online This Wednesday
Ford will finally reveal the 2021 Ford-150 Raptor on Wednesday next week to give a tough time to the 702-hp Hellcat-powered 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. The unveiling will be Live on YouTube at 11:00 am.
While Ford did not give any details on the off-road pickup truck, the spy shots revealed that the 2021 Ford-F150 Raptor would feature a coil-spring rear suspension setup instead of previous leaf-spring configuration.
Again not confirmed but CarandDriver also spotted a more powerful variant, probably named Raptor R featuring a V8 mill. Reportedly, the regular Raptor will come equipped with the old twin-turbo 3.5L V6.
Whether the 700-hp Raptor R V8 will break cover next week or not, is still a mystery. We have our finger crossed!
What we expect out of the new Raptor are blackout "Ford" script grille, wide fenders, 35-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires, available Beadlock-capable wheels, and Fox racing shocks. The add-ons may include a spare tire carrier, rock rails, and so much more.
We will know everything about the new Raptor next week. Meanwhile, we can only speculate and hope Ford also unveils the V8 powered Raptor on February 3.
